Ecto Cooler from Mt. Baker Vapor

Okay, peeps.......Strap on your Ghostbusting Gear, grab your Proton Packs and don't forget to pack that lunch with your favorite juicebox, because it's time to talk ECTO COOLER!!!

I remember when Hi-C first came out with the Ecto Cooler juicebox. Ghostbusters was a huge hit in the theaters already, so Columbia Pictures Television & DiC Enterprises animated the "Busters" and kinda made Slimer the "official mascot". Slimer, as we all know, was the green, slimy ghost that helped ruin the hotel in the first movie. After finally "evacuating" Slimer, Bill Murray's character "Peter Venkman" bursts from the Ball Room exclaiming....."We came, we saw, we kicked its ass!".....and it's with THAT very exclamation in which I will review this juice!!

The bottle of Ecto Cooler that I received, as stated above, is from Mt. Baker Vapor. It is a 50/50 pg/vg mix and it's at a 24mg Nic Level.

Gonna vape this on my KR Mod (as usual) so I can mess with the voltage while I go. I'll be using a brand new coil head on my 5ml Clearomizer and hopefully I'm gonna get the best flavor possible.

Here goes........

First off...........Cap off. BANG!!! Citrus BLAST right in the ol' smeller!!! This stuff smells like a freshly cut mix of citrus fruits. No one fruit more than another..........just a POP of citrus goodness. I love the smell of citrus. Sweet, Tart, Tangy...........MMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The smell has me, for sure.

Loaded up my Clearo......Let's take it to town, people!!!!

First hit.............(3.6v).....Good. Not the "exact" flavor I remember from childhood but definitely close enough. It's not as sweet as I remember the juicebox being, but I don't guess it could be. It IS however, very good!! Very "citrus-y" (I don't think thats a word, but we're going with it) and makes your mouth water on the inhale. Very similar to a breakfast drink I had as a child called "5Alive".

It's very much a blend of several citrus fruits and not just Orange or Lemon/Lime. Very complex in that it is literally kinda sweet one second and still tart the next. I like that a lot!!

Let's try cranking the voltage up to 4.6v, and see what that does.

Second hit.............Better. I can taste the citrus even more at this voltage and just that single volt more helped produce a nice Throat Hit and doubled my Vapor Production. This stuff really vapes, by the way. The amount of vapor produced here is very pleasing and now I'm wondering if this would have been better in a Carto Tank instead of the Clearo. Guess I could always find out later, huh??

Third hit............(5.4v and not a volt higher)........Still very citrus-y but the added warmth from the higher volt does nothing for the Ecto Cooler. Throat Hit and Vapor Production seem to be the same as at 4.6v. The only REAL difference I see is that it seems to make me wanna have a little sip of water afterwards. Like I was parched.

All around........I'd say Ecto Cooler is good. For me it's not an "All Day Vape" but one I'd like to keep for early morning vaping or for those days when I'm craving a citrus type soda (Mello Yello, Squirt or even the real Ecto Cooler from Hi-C) and just don't want the extra calories.

Well........to paraphrase the great Dr. Venkman, in regards to MBV's Ecto Cooler,....."It came, I vaped, and this juice kicks ass!!!"

So......."Who ya gonna call?" when you want Ecto Cooler?? MT. BAKER VAPOR, that's who!!!!

I hope you've enjoyed my review of Ecto Cooler from Mt. Baker Vapor and I look forward to giving you my next review soon. Thanks, again, from the "UN-dead" blogger and..........

Happy Vaping!!!!!

SweetBacco from Vapealicious Juice

Hey everybody..........."UN-dead" blogger, here. Today I'm giving my review of SweetBacco from Vape-a-licious. I got this last week in an order where I ordered it and STL Gooey Butter Cake (Review for STL GBC can be found in the E-Juice Reviews section of The Vaping Dead ;)  )

First off, I wanna let you know that this juice is dark. I know some people feel like dark liquids burn up Attys, so you've been told ahead of time.

Second thing...........It's a 50/50 pg/vg mix and at an 18mg Nic Level.

I did NOT try this liquid in a Carto. I used a 5ml Clearomizer, top wicking coil.

SweetBacco from Vape-a-licious.

Okay...........Opening the bottle, you can smell the juice straight away. It's a very sweet smelling liquid. Not "WOW!!!"........but more like "MMMmmmmmm!!!". You can tell its a tobacco, for sure, but it has a very "syrupy" smell. Very sweet. It's a wonderful blend of the two, with neither being "over the top". Once its vaped, the vapor smells very much like an unburned cigar.

It has a rich, caramel color and isn't thick at all despite being a 50/50 pg/vg mix (actually seems a little more like a 65/35 mix, in my opinion)

Tank full and the KR set to 3.6v..........first hit. "Yeah!" (ever get that? That "cocked head" look of amazement?) THIS is a different kind of animal. I've had nutty tobaccos, sweet tobaccos, Flue cured, Pipe blends, cigars blends, "Cowboys", "Humpbacks",  and tons of others................and THIS is different. This actually reminds me of............CHEWING TOBACCO.
Like "Redman Classic" or "Levi Garrett". It's not "candy" sweet but it is "sweet".............it has a FULL, very robust tobacco flavor too.

Now let's go a digit higher.........4.6v!! Another hit. "OH.......Yeah!! This has Throat Hit!! Catches you right at the top of the throat. Its not harsh but it is heavy. It feels like a very full, vaporous hit (but we'll discuss that next). Flavor is still there and strong. Still amazing that its like Chewing Tobacco too.

I'm not taking the voltage any higher with this juice. I'm weary of how it might do. I don't wanna give it that "burnt out" taste that some tobaccos get at higher volts, so 4.6v would be my recommendation on this one. It's very good and not too hot. Good Vapes.

Vapor Production. Great. Not "Excellent".........Not "Super Thick".........."Great" sums it up. It's there, and it is a heavy volume, but it isn't "thick" or "white out" worthy. It is enough to make you feel satisfied. I know that even if we still get our Nic cravings taken care of, we still like seeing some vapor too. SweetBacco satisfies that need to see vapor.

If you were once a fan of chewing tobacco and wanna revisit the great taste of it.....try SweetBacco. I'm willing to bet it takes you back to "those days"......"jaw stuffed and spit cup in hand". I'd recommend that anyone try this (but especially the "ex-chewer"), as I really did enjoy this flavor. Although it seemed thin and it was dark.........for the cost, I think its well worth the purchase. It has a great flavor and a good Vapor Production.

You can find SweetBacco by clicking this LINK or browse the entire site by visiting http://www.vapealiciousjuice.com/. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. Remember to leave any questions, comments or suggestions you may have. Thanks, again.

Happy Vaping, Everyone!!!!!

STL Gooey Butter Cake by Vape-a-licious juice

Mail guy stopped at the crypt today. He had a tiny, lil, brown box in his hand. "What could possible be inside that little thing?" I thought...........and then it hit me!!! Not what was in the box.........the mailman, He hit me!! Told me to quit biting at his fingers!!! Hahahahahaaaaaaaaa

Inside the box was a fabulous array of black and pink confetti strips along with 2 10ml bottles. It was HERE!!!! My order from Vape-a-licious!!!

I had been looking forward to this for quite some time!! I had heard tons of praise about their #1 selling juice.........STL Gooey Butter Cake!! I'm not a big fan of dessert style/flavored E-Liquids but I had to try this one. I LOVE the real dessert and knowing that there was such a good following for this liquid, I knew I'd be ordering a bottle soon enough.

I also ordered the #2 best selling liquid under their Flavor Catalog......SweetBacco, but that's another review for another day.

On to the BUTTER CAKE!!!!

Vape-a-licious'  STL Gooey Butter Cake at 18mg and a 50/50 pg/vg mix.

Loaded this into a New Clearo and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Long enough for it to be good and wicked, cause I'd hate for a dry burn to ruin this first time tasting.

I can't tell you enough just how delicious this juice smells!! Rich, buttery, the smell of warm cake and something else. I can't quite place what it is though........but it smells terrific!!!

I was on the edge of my seat, ready to get a really good "puff, puff" on this stuff. The thought of it coming this past week has had my mouth watering!! I'm ready to do this...........

So I tasted. WOW!!! HOW AMAZING CAN ONE JUICE BE????

Really!!! This stuff is EXCELLENT!!! It's buttery, its sweet, its warm......its bitter?? HUH??? Not bitter in a bad way though.......bitter, like a good bitter. Like............a dark roasted coffee. Now THAT........That is the smell I couldn't place earlier and I'm glad I couldn't, cause it would've ruined the surprise!!

I can not put words together to tell you exactly how good this juice is. If you like dessert flavored vapes......TRY THIS!! Make it your next order, REALLY!!

The vapor production on this juice is also excellent. Not thick, milky clouds but definitely a lot of vapor and a nice Throat Hit, which I feel comes from the coffee flavor you get in there.

All in all........I'm impressed!! Like I said, I'm no big fan of sweet, sweet vape juices but STL Gooey Butter Cake is the exception to my rule. I'll be keeping a bottle of this around. Maybe it won't be your "ADV" (All Day Vape)..............but it is something you might want to keep in your drawer for those extra special days when the world has been good to you.

I hope you have enjoyed this look at Vape-a-licious' STL Gooey Butter Cake. I would recommend stopping by their website (http://www.vapealiciousjuice.com/) and checking them out. I'll be looking at SweetBacco here in the near future so be sure to check back with the "UN-dead" blogger and The Vaping Dead for that review. Until then..........Happy Vaping!!!!

Pink Panther by Joost

Over the weekend, the "UN-dead" blogger had a chance to kick back and have some fun, so he did. He visited with loved ones (both, living and "UN-dead"), scared a few people, and talked to some about vaping and introducing them to this lifestyle (or is it his "lifeLESSstyle" he wonders??). Hahahahahahaaaaaaa

Through all of these things one thought kept creeping up on him.........."I wonder how that Pink Panther is gonna taste??"

The fine folks over at Joost sent the "UN-dead" blogger a small bottle of their finest Pink Panther juice and as much as he enjoyed being away from things, he just couldn't wait to get back to his crypt and try it out.

The sample that was sent was a 10ml bottle. 18mg Nic Level and 50/50 pg/vg mix. Light Yellow, almost clear, in color..........this juice so far has potential. I was afraid that being called "Pink Panther" might be an indication that the liquid was going to be pink in color and I prefer a colorless to light amber shade in my liquids.

First impressions, before tasting........GOOD!! I cracked the sealed bottle and took the cap off. Being careful not to squirt juice into the place where my nostril used to be, I squeezed the bottle as I ran in front of my nose. The smell is sweet. At first seeming slightly fruity......not like REAL fruit, but more like an artificial fruit flavoring, and then the hints of bubble gum came thru too. This is a very appealing smell, folks. Like one of the "gum/hard candy hybrids" you get in your Halloween bag. I always loved those as a kid!!

Now to the bottom line...........Taste and VAPOR!!! Where do they stand? Well.......this was the breakdown for the experience I had.

I loaded up a 5ml Clearo (top wicking coil) with about 4ml of the "not-so Pink" liquid. The bottle steadily dripping its fine juice into the tank til I hit my mark. Cap screwed on. Mod set to my starter voltage.......3.6v. First hit......slow, steady draw. Vapor production not where it should be, for me, anyway. Taste is there. Not a sweet as it smells.

Let's try a higher voltage. Here we go........4.6v. Second hit. Slow, steady draw. Vapor production is up, as expected. Flavor hasn't increased. Still there but not the taste you expect from a liquid that smells as sweet as this.

I really, REALLY wanted this juice to be "there". You know......THAT spot. The place where your vaping was satisfying because ALL of it came together greatly. Great Vapor production, Great smell and Great taste..............but unfortunately, Pink Panther is a near miss, for me.

The vapor production was nice. Although I didn't blow "huge plooms" of vapor, I did get a consistently voluminous hit that satisfied my visual need to see the cloud.

The smell.......was AWESOME!! Hands down, one of the greatest smelling juices I've encountered. If he smell and taste were as close as, I feel, they should be.......THIS would be a GREAT vape.

The taste..........let's just say the taste is "there". Not heavy, not saturating and not satisfying. The smell of Pink Panther writes a check that it's flavor just can't cash.

Some of you may still want to form your own opinions of Pink Panther. I, myself, won't be ordering a bigger bottle but Joost has plenty of flavors that I still want to try. Not every flavor we try can be the best "ever" and I chalk this up to "different tastes for different people". It just wasn't MY flavor...............

But that doesn't mean it isn't YOURS!!! I urge you to visit Joost's website and make yourself familiar with their brand. They seem like genuinely great people and I'm sure that they put their hearts and souls into their juices. You can find Joost on the web here........https://joostvapor.com/ and be sure to browse their hardware section too. Looks like this place is off to a great start!!.

Til next time, Vaping Fans.............I hope you had a good read and Happy Vaping!!!!
